Last week the North Platte Area Chamber and Development Corporation announced they’d be receiving 30 Million Dollars in matching funds for a Rail Park based in Lincoln County. Gary Person the President and CEO of the North Platte Area Chamber and Development Corporation joined Huskeradio News Director Tristen Winder to further discuss the project.
Lincoln County Commissioner Chairman Chris Bruns discussed the project in some detail as well during KODY’s weekly recap of the Lincoln County Commissioners meeting. Commissioner Bruns also serves on the Board of Directors for the North Platte Area Chamber and Development Corporation and discussed the importance of establishing an Inland Port Authority in Lincoln County.
