April 9, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Weather permitting, the south half of the US-34 and N-15 intersection
will be closed for construction, starting Monday, April 15, according to the Nebraska Department of
Transportation.
Eastbound and westbound traffic on US-34 will be shifted to the north side of the intersection and will
be in a head to head configuration with lane delineation. N-15, south of US-34, will remain closed.
Northbound and southbound N-15 traffic will remain detoured using Izaak Walton Road, 294th Street,
and US-34 during this phase of construction.
These phases of construction are expected to be complete prior to July 1, 2024.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones and to pay attention to construction
and detour signs.
