North Platte Catholic Schools will be participating in Catholic Schools Week, set to begin this coming Sunday, January 29th. Below is the full schedule of events:

Catholic Schools Week is a national celebration of Catholic education and an opportunity to recognize the importance, the value, and the contributions of Catholic education to the Church and our community.
Sunday, January 29 — Celebrating Our Parishes

NPCS Families and Students will be speaking at the weekend Masses:
Monday, January 30 — Celebrating Our Community Opening Assembly
9:45AM—McDaid Gym–*Welcome and Introduction by Supt. Kevin Dodson
*Proclamation by Mayor Kelliher
*Pray ALL SCHOOL Rosary (glow in the dark)
Each student will receive a glow in the dark bracelet with NPCS logo
Community Leaders, School Board and Endowment Board Members
are invited to enjoy lunch with our McDaid Students
Tuesday, January 31 — Celebrating Our Faith
8:30am – All School Mass with Bishop Hanefeldt
The Bishop will visit the McDaid classrooms
Grandparents invited to attend mass & visit the McDaid classrooms
PTO will serve refreshments
NHS & StuCo students will assist with serving refreshments, elevator and gen guidance
Wednesday, February 1 — Celebrating Our Catholic Community
Donuts will be provided for all St. Pat’s Staff and Students from Activities Assoc.
Throughout the week—Jr/Sr High classes will do service projects at each Parish
B.I.N.G.O. for the McDaid Students 2-3pm
Books donated by McDaid PTO
5:30PM–8th Grade Science Fair—St. Patrick’s Gym
6:00PM—Preschool and Kindergarten Information Night—McDaid Gym
Thursday, February 2 — Celebrating Our Vocations
9:45AM–Rosary—St. Pat’s students –Deacon Irish
Friday, February 3 — Celebrating Our Students & Staff Members
9:45AM—Jr/Sr High will have a Pro-Life Service—Deacon Irish
SPHS & McDaid Students can wear their Spirit Wear Shirts
Lunch will be provided for McDaid & St. Pat’s Staff—Courtesy of the Endowment Office
McDaid students will watch a movie in the afternoon (Nemo)
