The North Platte Police Department has announced that they are searching for a 14-year-old from the area after leaving school on Wednesday.
According to a post by the police department on their Facebook page, Gertie Werkmeister was last seen as she left Adams Middle School wearing a light-blue hooded sweatshirt and black sweat pants.
