North Platte, NE- NebraskaLand Bank is proud to announce the recipients of their 2023 “My Fair Share” program, which allows employees to nominate and contribute to various organizations in their communities. In 2023, seven organizations across the communities we serve were chosen to receive a total of approximately $16,500 in donations.
NebraskaLand Bank’s “My Fair Share” program has been empowering employees since 2004. Employees choose how much they donate and which organizations they support. This initiative is just one way NebraskaLand Bank is dedicated to making a positive impact in our communities.
Mike Jacobson, President and CEO of NebraskaLand Bank, expressed his pride in the program and its
impact on the community. “You see our staff all the time out in the community doing volunteer work,
but My Fair Share is a program where they are actually donating from their paychecks to these
programs. They not only donate their time, they donate their own dollars.”
The recipients of this year’s program include Bridge of Hope Child Advocacy Center, Fur Animal Rescue,
North Platte Habitat for Humanity, Debra’s Legacy, McKenna’s Rae of Hope, Kearney Area Animal
Shelter, and Hospice of Sweetwater County. These organizations were chosen by the employees of
NebraskaLand Bank showcasing their dedication to giving back to their local communities.
In the past, organizations such as the North Platte Area Children’s Museum, PAWS-itive Partners, Rape &
Domestic Abuse Program, and the North Platte Trails Network, received donations from the “My Fair
Share” program. In total, NebraskaLand Bank employees have donated approximately $216,500 since
the program’s inception.
