NASCAR’s Kyle Petty will lead 150 motorcycles more than 2,100 miles on a week-long trek from South Dakota to North Carolina, ending at Victory Junction to celebrate the camp’s 20th anniversary, and they are making a stop in North Platte on Saturday, May 4th. They have many celebrities riding with them – Kyle and Richard Petty, NASCAR greats Ken Schrader, Kenny Wallace, Max Papis and David Ragan, NBC Sports NASCAR play-by-play announcer Rick Allen and NFL great and Heisman Trophy Winner Herschel Walker. Come meeting these celebrities, get autographs, and have photos taken with them as soon as they arrive at the Holiday Inn Express at 7:00pm, although we recommend you come early so you can see them all arrive as well! It’s quite a sight to watch 150 motorcycles pulling in – all under police escort! This event is totally free of charge.
