The annual Cambridge CSO All-Star Game is set for May 30th in Cambridge and this year’s rosters have been announced, with several area athletes competing in the games. The girl’s game will begin at 6 PM, followed by the boys.
A change in the selection of the teams this year took place, as traditionally teams are selected via an east/west format. This year, teams were selected from at an at-large pool via a serpentine draft format. Also, the team names are named after coaches from the area. The girls teams are named for Roger Lauhead of Wauneta-Palisade and Mike Lanham from Oxford/Southern Valley. The boys were named after Paxton’s Jody Rhodes and Bob Newcomb of Bartley/Twin Valley. They will all be recognized at halftime of the contests.
