North Platte Baseball Gets Fourth Win Over Holdrege on Walkoff
The Bulldog baseball team picked up a walk off win over Holdrege on Tuesday at Bill Wood Field, winning 6-5. North Platte got a 2-RBI double from Landon Greeno in the 7th inning to pick up the win for North Platte. The Bulldogs improve to 4-13 on the year and will continue play at Bill Wood Field this week as they will take on Adams Central and Maxwell/St Pat’s in a triangular on Thursday.
Bulldog Golf Gets 4th at Ron Coleman Golf Invite
The North Platte boy’s golf team picked up a fourth place finish in McCook at the Ron Coleman Invite on Tuesday, shooting a team score of 348. McCook won the invite at 324. Individually, Quade White led the way with an 81, good for third individually. Camden Weaver also placed in the top ten, shooting an 83, good for eighth overall.

Paxton’s Hardin, Sutherland’s Dempcy in Top 10 at Perkins County Individually
The Perkins County boy’s golf invite took place Tuesday, with Chase County winning the team title. The Longhorns shot a 314, nine strokes ahead of second place Perkins County at 323. Hitchcock County was third at 328. Individually, Ethan Hardin led the area shooting a 79, good for eighth overall. Sutherland’s Grady Dempcy finished with a 79 as well, good for ninth. The top ten is below.
Chase County Sweeps Home Track Invite
Chase County won both team titles at their home track invite in Imperial on Tuesday, winning the boys team title with 257 points, ahead of second-place Perkins County at 145.5. Hershey was third, while Maxwell came in sixth overall. On the girl’s side, much of the same as the Longhorns accumulated 262.5 points, well ahead of Ogallala at 125.5. Hershey girls were third, while Maxwell was sixth again.
