Officers from the North Platte Police Department participated in a Nebraska Department of Transportation sponsored, impaired driving campaign, from 04-18-25 through 04-20-25 .
A total of 57 traffic contacts were made department wide. Twenty-two citations were issued.
Two citations were issued for speeding. Two citations were issued for Careless or Reckless driving.
Three people were arrested for DUI. One of the DUI drivers was also arrested for Misdemeanor Child Abuse.
Three fugitive arrest warrants were served.
Four additional arrests were made for drug offenses, including two for Class IV Felony possession of a controlled substance, one for possession of Marijuana and one for use of Toxic Inhalants.
